Position Title – Quality Assurance Engineer

WebEquity is actively looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer located in our downtown Omaha office.
WebEquity is actively looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer. In this role, you will:
- Plan and direct activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards for WebEquity applications
- Evaluate, review, and test new or modified software programs, including documentation, diagram, flowchart, and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines
- Runs in-depth testing, diagnoses problems, recommends solutions, and determines if program requirements have been met
- Perform functional and load-testing of applications including developing and maintaining automated scripts to test and verify functionality / defects
- Write and maintain test cases and plans from specifications or current applications
- Work with multiple hardware and software platforms
Qualifications
- 4-year degree from an accredited institution required
- Minimum 3-years quality assurance / testing experience
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Financial experience/knowledge beneficial
- Highly analytical
- Exemplary organizational and follow-up skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Customer-focused, positive attitude required
