Position Title – .Net Developer/Software Engineer

Position Description
WebEquity is actively looking for a .Net Developer / Software Engineer. In this role, you will:
- Participate in analysis, design, development, testing, training and implementation of project objectives and business requirements
- Provide maintenance for existing applications
- Resolve any production support issues reported
- Work with multiple hardware and software platforms at an intermediate skill level
- Develop and implement XML Web services using the Microsoft .NET Framework
- Develop and implement server components
- Create, manipulate, and consume using SOAP extensions Datasets, XML data, XSD Schemas for both insertion and retrieval of data from the relational database
- Utilize Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008 for large web applications
- Research and respond to customer questions received via telephone and email as needed
Qualifications
- 4-year degree from an accredited institution required
- Minimum 3-years experience with front-end Web application programming that includes ASP.Net, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX languages
- Familiar with SDLC approaches and documentation requirements for SAS70 compliance.
- Experience managing source code repository and maintaining a version control system
- Must be able to write MS SQL stored procedures and user-defined functions.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Prior experience in a software support environment or experience with database applications
- Financial experience/knowledge beneficial
- Highly analytical; able to successfully troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Exemplary organizational and follow-up skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Customer-focused, positive attitude required
